Discord, rebuilt
the way you want it.
Endcord is a lightweight, open-source client mod that gives you plugins, themes and full privacy — without ever touching a server of ours.
Endcord — official website
Everything Discord left out
A client mod built for people who want control back — over how it looks, what it sends, and what it can do.
Plugin ecosystem
Toggle 367 built-in plugins or write your own — message logging blockers, quick CSS, custom statuses and more.
Privacy first
No telemetry, no analytics, no accounts. Endcord only ever talks to Discord — nothing goes through our servers.
Full theming
Drop in community themes or design your own with live CSS reload — no rebuild, no restart required.
Lightweight core
Endcord patches the official client instead of replacing it, so it stays fast, small, and easy to update.
Zero-friction updates
Endcord re-patches itself after every Discord update automatically — you never lose your setup.
Open source
Every line of Endcord is public. Audit it, fork it, or contribute a plugin back to the community.
Questions, answered
Everything you need to know before installing Endcord.
Endcord uses its own modifications to Discord, and having another client or modification installed at the same time can cause conflicts and prevent Discord from launching properly.
Remove any existing Discord clients or modifications, then reinstall or launch Endcord. If the issue persists, make sure Discord is fully closed before trying again.
Built by users, for users.
Endcord started as a weekend project between a few developers who wanted their Discord client to look and behave the way they did back when third-party mods were common. It grew into a small, independent project maintained entirely by volunteers.
We're not backed by a company and we're not trying to become one. Endcord exists because we use it every day, and we'd rather keep improving it in the open than lock any of it behind a paywall.
Endcord is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc.
Your data stays yours
Last updated July 2026. Plain-language summary of how Endcord handles information.
01 Overview
Endcord is a local client modification. It does not operate its own servers for user data, does not require an account, and does not sit between you and Discord's own services.
02 What we collect
Nothing, by default. Endcord does not include telemetry, crash reporting, or analytics of any kind. We have no visibility into how, or how often, you use the app.
03 Local storage
- Plugin and theme settings are stored in a local config file on your device
- Nothing in that file is ever transmitted to us
- Uninstalling Endcord removes these files along with it
04 Third-party plugins
Community plugins run locally and may make their own network requests (for example, to fetch a GIF or check for updates). Review a plugin's source before installing it — the Source Code repository lists which plugins ship by default.
05 Discord's own policies
Endcord does not change what Discord itself collects once you're logged in. Discord's own Privacy Policy still applies to your account and messages.
06 Changes & contact
If this policy changes, the update will be posted here with a new date. Questions can be raised as an issue on the Source Code repository.
